Bombay-Haus Amarjeet in Rostock

Ordered online today with pickup at a certain time. I was surprised how well it worked. The meal was ready to the minute. When we got home, we were able to enjoy the very warm food thanks to the good packaging. As usual, the taste is very good. Thanks a lot for this!

Absolutely bad, when I order a dish with a pineapple coconut sauce, I expect it to taste at least a little bit like it, instead it tasted absolutely garnish and also looked like it had been eaten before when I called to ask if someone accidentally delivered the wrong thing to me, I was laughed at and absolutely not allowed to talk to them. Bad food Bad service Absolutely not to be recommended!

We ordered directly from the Bombay House yesterday. Ordering by phone worked great and the delivery time was 30 minutes. Food came on time and the driver was very nice. It tasted great, I had the Bombay grill plate and my wife had chicken curry. We usually like to go to eat there, but unfortunately not at the moment. We can only make clear recommendations here.

The worst food and behavior ever. No taste chapati and nan I even could not eat. I ordered lamm curry and saag never saw such a food in my life. Really disappointed ?

I was lucky and ordered Shahi Korma chicken here at the Bombay House and, contrary to the reviews, was unfortunately very disappointed. The delivery time of one hour on a Saturday noon was okay. The rice was okay too. However, there was very little cheese in the sauce. What was most noticeable, however, was that the chicken did not taste as good as the competition and also looked like a run-of-the-mill chicken fillet from cheap Asian restaurants that are on every corner, which is not meant negatively, but is not expected. The biggest faux pas was that the chicken was breaded and put in the sauce. The condition of the cut fillet on arrival was not appetizing because the breading was softened and a not really edible symbiosis with the sauce. The second disappointment was the realization that a serving of Shahi Korma chicken costs over 13 euros and even at half the price doesn't justify what was brought to me. There is a plus point for the delicious bhatura bread and dips, as well as the above-mentioned, "okay" things.

We were there by reservation the night before the lockdown. There was only one waiter on site. It seemed like the delivery service was preferred. The table next to us was waiting for your meal for 2 hours. The waiter was completely overwhelmed. After a while another waitress came. The operation ran a little faster, but still very uncoordinated and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good either. It wasn't spicy and the meat was tough and full of gristle. Absolutely not to be recommended.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Rostock. Choose this if you want a close to Indian taste experience.

The food is delicious. The staff is always friendly. First of all, there is always a small greeting from the kitchen with lots of delicious dips. We recommend!

Food is very good and a lot, we couldn't eat everything. The ambience is really cute, just a little cool. The service also speaks English. Overall, I liked everything. Toilet are clean too.

Had Dal Makhni, which came along with a bowl of rice (reis) and a roti (brot). It was way too delicious. Highly recommended.

Ordered food here and picked it up ourselves. Everything was delicious and very lovingly wrapped - even with more nan than expected! The staff is very friendly there and we would order again at any time.

Ordered Tandoori Chicken and it was an absolute disaster. To be honest the dish was as if it was prepared by a beginner with chunks of yogurt mixed with masala on top of the uncooked chicken.

We spontaneously went to dinner at the Bombay house last Thursday. Of course we could bring our dog with us. The starter platter with delicious treats, which are always given at the beginning as a greeting from the kitchen, was even refilled after we raved about it. We had delicious vegan, vegetarian and meaty dishes, all of which were delicious. Thanks to the information about the spiciness in the menu, there were no nasty surprises. What can I say, super personable, courteous service, totally reasonable prices and delicious typical Indian food, what more could you ask for?

If you want to eat delicious and varied Indian food, this is the place for you. The service could sometimes be a little more attentive and brisk. But overall very nice.

Very disappointing. The advertised lunch buffet which is offered on Saturday / Sunday does not exist. The employee who spoke bad German probably heard about it for the first time. Not recommended.

We have been to Rostock several times and have also visited the Bombay House several times. Always delicious, good enough selection and the staff was super nice.

We loved the restaurant! The prices are completely okay and the food was delicious and above all: It was enough and filling! At the beginning there was a starter with different dips, which surprised us very much. If I lived here, I would certainly go there more often!

Bombay Haus is a good Indian restaurant with great decor, service and very good food.

I usually order from bombay house because their Indian food is reasonably good. But today we ordered lentil soup and chicken soup and got tomato sauce (really) and the food has no salt or seasoning. This is the first review I ever did, because I usually dont care about reviews...but the food is soo bad today and the order is so out of place that I just had to write here. I hope they rectify their mistake.

It was our first time here and we are absolutely thrilled. The food was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to the next visit. Simply a successful evening! ?

I am sharing my experience about this place's food only since I ordered food from an online delivery service. I ordered chicken biriyani and I have no words left to describe it. The dish is far away from being biriyani. It is basically a mash of rice and chicken gravy with utterly no taste and soggy capsicums. They might have added necessary edible colours or so to make it look like this, but the taste is absolutely disaster. You can hardly find grain sized raisins and cashews and a faint smell of mixed general spices. the consistency of the rice grains is nowhere how a biriyani rice should be. It was accompanied by a gravy which was sweet in flavour. The dish came along with two sauces and a salad. Huge disappointment. Do not order biriyani if you know how a biriyani should be. Again, I have not visited this place so cannot comment on service and staff.

Excellent taste, I have tried Punjabi Thali and it was delicious. Although it was too much for one person. If you are looking for Indian food in Rostock this is the best place. Ambience is dark as it's in a basement.

Cozy restaurant in the cellar vault. Service and service are ok. Definitely the appetizer plate, very varied and delicious. Our main courses were quick, were very tasty and we had to take a part, so rich were the portions. Definitely worth a visit.

From when we arrived and we got our main courses it took more than two hours. My main course had no flavour, it was just bland. Nice bread though..

Ordered chicken biriyani but got chicken jalfrezi mixed in rice. No yogurt sauce with it. Who puts bell peppers in chicken biriyani? Indians don't. I am an indian and I can guarantee that this restaurant is a sorry excuse for an indian restaurant. If you want authentic Indian food go elsewhere.

Excellent and wonderful staff. They gave a variety of indian chutteny free. We went there twice .

Had a gandhi soup and a mutton vindaloo. The soup was sugar sweet but tasteless, except for the added corn and ginger. The vindaloo was dry, reheated meat in a allround bland sauce added chilipowder. Good indian cuisine is spiced, seasoned and rich. This was not. The naan was good and the service was quick.

Small but fine Indian restaurant, housed in a brick basement. Service and price - performance is more than justified and fair. The food comes quickly, is well seasoned, plentiful and incredibly delicious. If you like Indian food, this is the place for you. Again any time.

Romantic place, very good service. Everything freshly prepared. Food was not spicy at all. We ordered extra chilli. But so to say, we are very used to Indian food.

Pretty decent Indian food available

A great Indian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Papadams are served with a variety of extras (some chutneys, chopped carrots, mint sauce, garlic sauce, ...), delicious. There is also a wide range of main courses waiting to be tasted.

Nice room and friendly waiters but the food was not impressing. It simply lacked taste and the fish tasted old.
